The facts

• The Diploma is a new qualification for 14 – 19 year olds
• You can pick from 10 Diploma subjects in September 2009
• They teach you about an area of work you're interested in
• Through a mix of class work and hands on experience
• You can also choose subject options that you want to do
• This could be to do with a hobby, a career or study you want to get into
• And still take compulsory subjects like English, maths and ICT

At the end, you'll have a better idea of what you want to do next. It could be more study at school, a job, university, college or an Apprenticeship.
