Unfortunately, I've been unable to update my profile this time round. I hope you enjoy finding out what the others have been up to and good luck with making your choices.

Dance and drama are my favourite things. I really like music which has good lyrics, like Leona Lewis, I think she’s great. My brother works for Future Radio, a local radio station, and recently I went on the Mayor’s Procession through Norwich city centre which was really fun. Luckily I didn’t have to wear a costume because they had all gone by the time I got there!

My education so far...

I’m doing a GCSE in Drama as part of my Diploma course.

I think it’s really important to choose subjects that you enjoy and that will help you get to where you want to be in the future. It helps you to stay motivated if you like what you’re studying and it’s important that you choose qualifications which will help you get a job you want.

The Diploma I've chosen

I heard about the Diploma at school. I thought it sounded really different and interesting. I was really glad that I was able to choose it instead of doing normal GCSEs.

I always think that studying GCSEs will involve lots of sitting behind a desk and writing. The Diploma involves hands on work and learning about things in the classroom which I am more interested in.

I really want to go to drama school so the Higher Diploma in Creative and Media sounded really good. I also get to move around a lot! I still go to my school, but I will also be having Diploma lessons at another college and another school.

Future dreams

My dream would be to go to drama school and become a film or theatre actress, but if this doesn’t happen or I change my mind I know that the Diploma will help keep my options open. I could go into another type of creative job or even go to university. In ten year’s time, I don’t know where I see myself...maybe on television in some adverts or on a soap!
